In 2016, the owner of the site embarked on a major project: to give this fortified building a total restoration. The goal was achieved: the building was restored to its former glory in the summer of 2021. The castle has undergone a major transformation to become a luxury hotel. Simply called <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.chateaudemirwart.com\/#Weglot-en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Mirwart Castle<\/a>, the hotel has a gourmet restaurant and function rooms. An exceptional project undertaken by the Brussels architectural firm Jaspers-Eyers. The furniture &#8211; from Molteni &#8211; was designed by the eminent interior architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen. The various rooms are decorated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.verilin.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">the sumptuous linens of Verilin, a company based in Flanders<\/a>. The castle exudes a typical atmosphere. The architects have taken care to respect the heritage of the building while blending a contemporary design that is harmoniously integrated into the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Located in the forest of Saint-Hubert, the present building dates from the beginning of the 18th century. But its origins go back to the 6th century. It dominates the entire village of Mirwart, and today welcomes many visitors for a rejuvenating stay nestled in the heart of nature. It retains its old Ardennes lustre while offering cosy comfort and premium facilities.
