Ze koos daarbij voor zeer natuurlijke en lokale materialen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De eigenaars wilden echter ook een modernere touch, met gepolijst beton, mortex, en vooral veel ruimte. De badkamers zijn dan ook gigantisch, met hoge plafonds in de slaapkamers. Het centrale gedeelte tussen het buitenrestaurant en de boetiek-receptie kreeg een adembenemend houten geraamte en een bijzonder cosy sfeer, met zetels in hout en rotan<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, zwart- en goudkleurige metalen hanglampen (Pomax), en overal schitterende voorwerpen en wilde dieren met bronseffect. Een dergelijke verscheidenheid in gerechten is in Senegal eerder zeldzaam. De vakantiegangers houden van eenvoudige maar fijne schotels met lokale producten van zeer hoge kwaliteit. En genieten ook van het zalige uitzicht: het grote azuurblauwe zwembad en de handdoeken met het Yokan-logo erop. Vlakbij bevindt zich de volledig houten bar met vuurkorf, om een van de fikse cocktails te degusteren waar het huis bekend om staat, alvorens aan tafel te gaan! En helemaal aan het uiteinde zie je \u2026 de oceaan. Regelmatig komen ruiters voorbij. Het leven verloopt hier op kousenvoeten. \u201cYokan staat gelijk met genieten voor iedereen. Onze klanten zijn zowel verliefde stelletjes, gezinnen, vriendengroepen. Hier kan het allemaal. In de kamers staat een kleine ijskast en in de dressing bevindt zich een kluis. Aangezien het water in Senegal niet drinkbaar is verschijnt elke dag een mooie kan in messing op het nachtkastje en op de wastafel in de badkamer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De kamers in Yokan Lodge zijn verbluffend. Alles is erop gericht om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken: de zachtste lakens die je je kunt dromen, spullen om naar het strand te trekken \u2026 In elke kamer een tv-toestel, ruime dressing en een schrijftafel, waar de moedigste gasten aan het werk kunnen. Yokan Lodge biedt de mogelijkheid om op het priv\u00e9terras te ontbijten of om er \u2019s middags of \u2019s avonds de maaltijd te gebruiken.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En waarom geen flinke gegrilde langoest v\u00f3\u00f3r het zwembad van het huis, als de vogels stilaan hun gekwetter staken en de natuur tot rust komt? Op zulke momenten is de zonsondergang die zich voor je ogen voltrekt van een onvoorstelbare schoonheid. Een tochtje te paard, bijvoorbeeld. Het domein beschikt ook over quads om de omgeving te verkennen en onderweg een typische lunch mee te pikken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na zo\u2019n verrassende excursie lekker onderuitzakken aan het zwembad is altijd een goed idee. Opteren voor een behandeling in de spa is ook een mogelijkheid. Er worden uiteenlopende massages aangeboden, kwaliteitsvolle manicure en pedicure, gezichtsverzorging \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Een andere must is de prauw. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We hebben het over de charmante oude Afrikaanse boten waarmee je de mangrove kunt verkennen. Alles is goed doordacht en niets ontbreekt. Het decor is gewoon perfect en het team zorgt ervoor dat het uitzicht zich voor je ogen ontrolt. Ondertussen geniet je van een heerlijke barbecue en al de rest.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na een boottochtje van zo\u2019n vijfenveertig minuten krijg je alle tijd om de bedwelmende schoonheid van de omgeving verder in je op te nemen. En ondertussen is de bemanning in de weer om de kampeerplaats te organiseren! Veelkleurige tent, dikke kussens met Afrikaanse motieven, stoelen, tapijten \u2026\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het enige wat de gasten te doen staat is genieten van het moment en zich ervan bewust zijn wat een geluk het betekent om daar die momenten te mogen beleven.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Naar Yokan Lodge trekken is kiezen voor een gegarandeerde succesvakantie op amper 5 uur vliegen en zonder tijdsverschil.
