Sommaire
Her Éclipses and Empreintes series inhabit space with elegance and quiet discretion, inviting us to slow down and enter contemplation. Conceived as wall sconces or floor lamps, they are distinguished by the delicacy of their precious gold-leaf glazing. The Éclipses currently grace one of the lounges at Hôtel Faubourg 21 in Brussels.

Silence of the Material
An artist of restraint and meditative gesture, Nathalie Stillemans does not seek to tame the earth, but to unveil its intrinsic nature — its strength as well as its vulnerability.
The deliberately asymmetrical silhouettes bear the subtle imprint of the hand. Organic and vibrant, they seem to breathe with a quiet, living presence.

The Skin of Stoneware
Her forms invite touch. Their surfaces unfold like skin, like bark marked by time — textured landscapes reminiscent of a life’s journey.
Though a shape may be revisited, it is never repeated identically. Each piece carries infinitesimal variations, granting it a singular soul.
Colour
Through patient experimentation, the ceramicist develops her own signature glazes.
From this alchemy emerge deep and vibrant hues — at times unexpected, always alive with subtle unpredictability.

From her charming studio on the edge of the Sonian Forest, Nathalie Stillemans generously shares her passion. She guides young audiences in particular toward the quiet virtues of working with clay, nurturing a sensitive and intuitive approach akin to a form of poetic naïveté.
